“Teachers + LEGO® = A New Way of Learning ✨
TeachSTEAM recently conducted a highly interactive Play for Professionals session at Northstar School, Rajkot, where teachers experienced learning in a completely new and refreshing way, through LEGO®️based, hands-on exploration.
This session was designed especially for educators to step out of traditional discussion-based training and engage in creative thinking, reflection, and collaboration using LEGO® bricks. As teachers-built models to express ideas, challenges, and perspectives, conversations became deeper, more meaningful, and highly engaging.
What made the session powerful was not just the building, but the sharing. Every model told a story. Every reflection sparked new insights. Teachers actively participated, listened to each other, and discovered how play can unlock thinking that words alone often cannot.
The session highlighted how play-based methods can be equally impactful for adults, especially educators who shape young minds every day. It reinforced the idea that when teachers experience learning through play themselves, they are better equipped to bring creativity, empathy, and innovation into their classrooms.
This workshop truly demonstrated that learning doesn’t have to be rigid to be meaningful. Sometimes, all it takes is a few bricks and an open mind to transform the way we think, connect, and grow together.”
