From Breakdown to Breakthrough – Inspiring Minds at the IDEA 2025 Conclave
At the vibrant IDEA 2025 Conclave hosted by Marwadi University on November 29th & 30th of 2025, over 60 young women students and faculty members gathered for a powerful panel discussion on innovation, resilience, and personal leadership. The event, designed for innovators, incubators, and investors, created a strong platform for students to learn from real stories of perseverance and growth.
Representing lived experience and authentic leadership, Binal Kamdar, Founder of TeachSTEAM, shared her journey titled “From Breakdown to Breakthrough.”
Her message was simple yet transformative: growth is not linear—it’s built through small experiments, visible outcomes, and learning from failure.
BK’s Spark
Binal spoke about her decade-long journey as a robotics coach, witnessing young minds solve real problems and grow through championships. Her spark came from realizing that play is not just fun—it can solve real problems, and that experimentation unlocks learning faster than theory.
The Breakdown
She reflected on the early challenges:
– People did not see play as development
– Schools weren’t ready for a new approach
– Readiness was assumed instead of building understanding
The Breakthrough
Her breakthrough came when she stopped waiting for acceptance and started proving outcomes. By showcasing real results, sharing student work online, and demonstrating visible impact, demand followed naturally.
The session left every participant inspired—reminding them that every failure is just one step away from a breakthrough.
